This incredible home had a very outdated theater room in a different part of the house. There wasn't enough room for what our client wanted to do so brought the fun to the basement that walks out to the back yard and inground swimming pool.
This theater room was a lot of fun for our team. This installation included stadium risers as you see in the picture, 8 reclining chairs to never want to move from, speakers, surround sound, lighting, projector and screen and years of family time together. You can see the rest of the photos in our gallery here and what the front of the room looks like!
We love what we do and we are so excited to share projects with you. Let us help you utilize the space you have and create a dedicated home theater for your family to enjoy all the time.

Check out this amazing transformation of a residential home theater room that went from blah to fab with the help of our team. Smarthome completely transformed this room from ceiling to flooring. Stadium seating with recliners for 8, new carpet flooring, 85 inch screen, surround sound, sound panels, black out shades and more. From what was once an unused room, is now transformed into a home theater in which the family can enjoy movies together any time they want.
This installation at Scotch Plains Tavern was alot of fun for us and we were happy to be a part of this addition to the town of Essex. We installed several TV's through out the tavern where many were hung above the bar for patrons to watch the game or news while eating as well as throughout the entire restaurant. Our installation also included wiring, lighting, music, and more. We were on site from the very beginning stages of the build and we were able to give our input on the best location of TV's, speakers, wiring, etc.
Scotch Plains Tavern bar and banquet facility brings together authentic tavern cuisine in a modern rustic ambiance. Enter through the giant scotch barrel (and be sure to look up to see the giant antique wooden gear) and you’ll notice many nods to the history of the area. The mural at the hostess station is a vintage photo of Dibble’s Corner, just down the road. On their staircase they have recognized the manufacturing companies that established early commerce in Essex (along with a few modern additions!).
The after picture below just gives you small glimpse of the restaurant. View the entire photo album here.
Many people might think this looks familiar in their own home, but as you can see from the before and after pictures it doesn't have to or should look like that. When we arrived at the customers home we saw a messy equipment rack. We will take the time to make sure you are happy and that the equipment works the way it should. The end result, is a clean, labeled equipment rack. When you are looking to upgrade your equipment or make a change we are available and we will take the time to make sure you are happy with the end result. Don't get caught in a mess with the wires anymore!
This beautiful, historic 1906 home installation included a custom drop down motorized projector with a drop down screen, black out shades to make the room dark, speakers, surround sound and much more. We needed an engineered beam to guarantee the ceiling wouldn't fall down, so we had to rip out the ceiling to put the beam in place. Finally we brought in painters to make it look like it did before any installation. In the before picture you can see our team getting the ceiling ready for the engineered beam to be installed.
